SEND Reviews
SENDCO and Regional Deputy SEND Leader for East of England and North-East London Michelle Unstead has been trained by NASEN (National Association of Special Educational Needs) to conduct SEND reviews of schools, including the NEW COVID-19 SEND Review Guide July 2020.

SENDAT Outreach
EASTA member SENDAT's Outreach service supports schools in meeting the needs of pupils with complex educational needs.
Typically, pupils triggering the involvement of the Outreach Service will have complex learning needs and advice may have been sought from an Educational Psychologist or ALS (SEN).
Training is available on a variety of topics including:

Curriculum differentiation for Downs Syndrome

Specific training on teaching methods and learning styles linked to a range of disabilities and conditions

Differentiation: a practical approach

Planning and assessment tools.
