Support for schools

Experience in delivering effective support to other schools

Our Alliance has a strong track record of offering school to school support, including strategic deployment of system leaders; EASTA's successful DfE-funded Sixth Form Improvement Project (replicated in Fenland and East Cambs); and SEND support.

We would be keen to work with your school to create a bespoke plan based on your individual needs. Please do get in touch.

System Leaders

System leaders are experienced middle or senior leaders who have been recognised for excellence in their field of expertise, and can be deployed to work with other schools in order to raise outcomes for students. EASTA has one designated NLE and a cohort of SLEs.

Read more about what system leaders do, and the criteria they are assessed against before being designated.

Become a SLE

EASTA is always interested in hearing from teachers who are interested in this role. SLE designation is open to individuals that hold middle or senior leadership roles in schools and who have particular area(s) of expertise.

A designated SLE might be called upon to:

  • Work with leaders in other schools to analyse data

  • Collaboratively action plan for improved outcomes

  • Develop and deliver training in effective subject leadership

  • Facilitate collaborative working including coaching others.

Teachers interested in becoming a SLE can contact us for more details.
