
Physics and Mathematics Paid Teaching Internships
This is a paid four-week internship programme, beginning in early June 2020: gain experience in schools and earn up to £1,000. This programme meets National Minimum/National Living Wage.
The internship is for current Maths and/or Physics undergraduates and may include:
*A combination of teaching, running science projects, offering intensive support for children who are struggling, and helping with experiments and laboratory work

Structured training, shadowing and lesson observation followed by a chance to jointly plan and deliver lessons

Access to one-to-one mentors who are good or outstanding classroom teachers in their specialism

Opportunities to network with qualified subject specialists

Visit to another school and a primary school

The offer of a reference as a result of the internship

Support from EASTA and partners with any future application to Initial Teacher Training.
Skills and Qualifications:

Applicants must be a current undergraduate studying either Maths or Physics, with an interest in teaching.
Hours:

8.30am-3.30pm with 1hr 20 minutes total unpaid breaks per day = 28.35 hours per week.
